Walking a tightrope to keep up with writing deadlines?

Technology has created an avalanche of need for sharp, well crafted copy for blogs, videos, whitepapers, websites, social media, advertising and more. Writing is a pain point felt across organizations and often creates a drag on getting out needed communication.

Smart business outsourcing of copy writing expertise continues to show benefits to the bottom line by assisting in-house writers with the overload or managing writing on entire projects.

One e-catalog company needed thousands of creative descriptions written for adult and children's costumes within three weeks. We put 20 experienced freelance writers to work and made the deadline. Then, they handed us a few thousand more!

Writing blogs for a long established business technologies company is an eye-opening experience working with some of the most intelligent, ethical and hardworking professionals who are given their customers' total trust to improve their business processes and provide safety from cyber criminal breaches.

Another recent client is trusting us to fill the video writing needs of multiple departments of healthcare providers in their vast network. We work hand-in-glove with their accomplished video production team as well -- to make sure our scripts meet their visual needs.

One of the largest cell phone providers hired us to write their monthly Midwest division online employee newsletter. Writing included the president's message, employee stories of excellence, community projects and feature articles.

Over the years, various healthcare systems have needed capital campaign and patient education videos, new facilities scripts and blog writing. Some subjects were not meant for the squeamish. Others featured amazing doctors and research teams performing miracles for patients.

After decades of writing/producing manufacturing videos, they continue to amaze us! Imaginations run wild watching monster machines cranking out bridge girders and road infrastructure most of us never see.

Just as exciting to write about are robotics of all kinds that make everything from intricate machine parts to soda cans; nano and micro-technology not always even visible to the human eye; oil rigs, spun metal nose cones, window manufacturing, air conditioning, hydro-dam technology that controls massive amounts of water, advanced medical equipment saving lives, and producing many training videos for Nestlé are just a few of the amazing things we've been a part of while 'on the job.'

Just think of us as the net under your tightrope!

If you ask about our most difficult experience, it would be writing just ahead of a production crew while in Blackburn, England. It was a rush project and great fun experiencing British manufacturing. (Employees whistled and hummed a lot.)

Most memorable was our work for the International Crane Foundation, in Baraboo, Wisconsin. The first project was produced for a group of scientists studying a pair of hand-raised whooping cranes that had never migrated out of their pad at a Florida sanctuary. What was truly jaw-dropping was the pair followed 'exactly' their ancestor's migration route, finally landing in Sandusky, Michigan. If you're looking for a relaxing day, visit the ICF. They have all fifteen of the world's crane species.

Of course, using our talents to make a difference is the 'heart' stuff that will always be a part of our work. Beyond the cranes, we've produced videos on drug and gang issues, scripted copy for a the largest homeless shelter in Boston, scripted a fundraising video for a new library and written/produced for local, state and federal government projects.

Yes, we've won awards.

Bottom line, we have a long work history covering a wide range of industries. Many of these projects have won prestigious local, national and international awards from Telly, the New York International Film & Video Festival, Media Communications Association International, Addy Awards, Communicator Awards, Wisconsin School Public Relations Association awards. . .

We love getting kudos from our industry peers but the real joy comes from hearing our customers are getting results. That's what counts. That's our priority. It's what puts the wind in our sails!
